UCTP.org- the only voice of the Taino on line

The following is an excerpt from a document of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, a branch of the United Nations which affect the Indigenous people of the world- including us. I refer to this in an introductory essay for my “Tau” series. For the convenience of the reader, I am providing the excerpt here showing how the the UCTP.org web site is presented to the world.

UCTP.org is the only on-line resource representing diverse voices of Caribbean Indigenous peoples which is developed, controlled and financed by Caribbean indigenous peoples, and has a focus on cultural resources.

This document can be found for download via the address provided below. It is a 21 page Word document and this particular comment can be found on page 5, first bullet point under “Best Practices highlighted”.

But I understand. Automatic reactions can be invisible. You may just run into that in my writing, too. I do edit and while I re-write, I may miss the mark. Bear with me and please know that while I may want to piss you off, disrespect is never intended.
